2. Certification of your document from the Secretary of State.
Procedure: 3. Authentication of your document from the authentication office, Department of State in Washington DC.
  4. Legalization of your document from the required embassy in Washington DC.

Approximate turn around time: We will certify, authenticate, and legalize your document and take it to the embassy by the next business day of receiving it.  Embassies vary regarding the certification time. Most documents are completed in 3 business days.

All documents for the countries listed below have to be certified from the Department of State in Washington DC, and the perspective embassy. Please note that any document which is not in English must include an English translation. The original and the translation will be considered as one document.

Legal Documents for Personal Use

Birth, death and marriage certificates required special handling. These documents are issued by the state and have state seal on them. In order to authenticate these documents from the Department of State, it is essential that you first have them certified from the secretary of state which originally issued them. The secretary of state will attach an extra page which certify the original document. 

US Legalization certifies all types of special powers of attorney. If the power of attorney is not written in English, you must attach an English translation. US Legalization does not certify general powers of attorney. 

College documents require special treatment at most embassies. Due to many different requirements, please contact us before sending your document.  


Export Commercial Documents

Our Service fee is $75.00 to certify a full set of C/I & C/O (Certificate of Invoice and Certificate of Origin).  
Now you may send us your commercial documents (Invoice & Certificate of Origin) in 4 different ways:

1-   You can create your commercial certificates online. US Legalization offers this new technology  to create and electronically submit your Certificate of Invoice, Certificate of Origin, or even a EIS  form for Saudi Arabia.

2-   In case you have saved your C/I and C/O as a file in your computer, you may email it to us to commercials@uslegalization.com  . Please call us afterward at 1-888-999-3434 to confirm that we received your documents. 
Further, please send us a check or money order to cover the charges by regular mail. Please include an airway bill so we can use it to return your document.

4- You can send your original document by mail using your own carrier.

US Legalization encourages all customers to send their payment in the form of company check, personal check or U.S. Money Order.For special circumstances, we accept credit card payment through PayPal.

If you are using  FedEx, -DHL- -UPS , or AIRBORNE : Please send an extra self addressed airway bill (make sure that it has your account number on it and that you have signed it).  There is no need to send the envelope.
